Crash rated barricades are frequently used by a variety of government, commercial and industrial entities. Crash ratings come primarily through the United States Department of State or ASTM standard. The tests are done using a vehicle weighing 15,000 pounds and then measuring the amount of penetration past the barrier at 30 mph, 40 mph, and 50 mph respectively.
